Feather River (fresh water river)
Updated 2014-09-10 18:29:04

Water is low and clear. Best fishing is near Gridley. There’s some early morning action and then it shuts off when the sun hits the water. There’s stretches of the river with no fish. Steelhead are in the low flow and high flow. Be careful to fish around the salmon rather than through the salmon. Be very careful wading. Johnson’s Bait & Tackle (530) 674-1912
