It was windy today. Is blew 35 to 40 knots for a few hours. Even with tough conditions we landed 20 striped bass and 2 halibut for 15 people. Everyone went home with some fish and had a good time.

5/17/25. Today was an outstanding 1/2 day on the bay!!! We had windy conditions all day but that did t stop the gang we had today!! We finished up just shy of the limit catching 29 striped bass & 4 chunky

Another incredible day on the Sac River! Nothing beats a day on the water when the fish are biting and the weather’s perfect. We had an absolute blast today landing some beautiful trout— big, healthy fish and even bigger smiles

The Truckee River flow has dropped to below 700 cfs at the Reno gauge. This is a great flow to target fish from downtown up to the California state line. Earlier in the week, flows were up around 1,150 cfs

Ocean water temperature is averaging between three and four degrees warmer than usual, all around the Monterey Bay. This is great news for anglers as summertime conditions typically foster the maximum opportunity for fishing a wide variety of ‘normal’ species
