Clear Lake (fresh water lake) Frog bite is on. There also decent action from buzz baits and top water lures. Weeds are coming up so punching lures will work. Surface temps are in the mid-70s. Gualala River (fresh water river) River is very low and doesn’t have much moving water. (707) 884-4247

Lake Mendocino (fresh water lake) There have been reports of striper boils outside of Crappie Cove. Carp are spawning so bowhunters are working the shallows. Bass anglers throw top-water lures and have a shot at stripers, smallmouth and largemouth. (707) 468-6474
Lake Pillsbury (fresh water lake) Trout are still being caught by shoreline anglers. Bass bite has been tougher. Lake is getting lower and launching may get difficult. Soda Creek Store (707) 743-2148
