Wine Country North

Clear Lake (fresh water lake)
Updated 2015-01-14 20:29:39

Bass bite remains on the slow side. Deep diving crank baits and A-rigs have been working best. Most are fishing the southern part of the lake where the water is warmer. North end of the lake is void of anglers. Minnow bite has been on-and-off. A weekend one-day tournament was won with 29 pound bag.  There were a handful of 8s landed, too. Catfish are at Frazier Point. Crappie are at Shag Rock and Kono Tahee. Use nightcrawlers or crappie jigs. Clear Lake Outdoors (707) 262-5852
