Rock cod bite continues to be strong. Salmon are being caught from Soquel Hole. Fish are near the bottom in 130 feet of water. Trollers get the occasional halibut. Stripers are caught near the cement ship and few halibut have been landed at the Santa Cruz Pier. (831) 462-2208

Anglers are going right off the head to catch salmon in 80 feet of water. The close to shore bite has been going on since the weekends. Sea lions are an issue.
